Tonya Pinkerton

Proposal Development Manager

Tonya Pinkerton is the Proposal Development Manager for Clinical and Population Sciences in the office of Research Development Services (RDS).  In their role, Tonya manages the Clinical Science team, ensuring that grant proposals and subawards for the Clinical Sciences departments are successfully submitted and processed.  Tonya holds a BA in Accountancy from University of Texas, Permian Basin; an MBA in Management Information Systems from Wayland Baptist University; and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration – Research from Texas Tech University.  Tonya also holds the following certificates from the Research Administrators Certification Council: Certified Research Administrator (CRA).  Tonya has worked in RDS since 2019.
