Research Outreach and Assessment Associate
Dana Hunter is the Research Outreach and Assessment Associate for Research Development Services. She works closely with the Deputy Director to provide the Sr. Associate VP for Sponsored Research with data-driven information on the processes relating to and management of sponsored research activities at GUMC. Dana also communicates policies and best practices in proposal development to the GUMC community. Prior to this position, Dana was a Program Analyst at the National Science Foundation, supporting grant program review and administration, and external communications activities. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, with a Bachelor of Arts in German and Linguistics and Georgetown University, where she received a Master’s of Science in Theoretical Linguistics. She also holds a Master of Public Policy, with an emphasis on science and technology policy, from George Mason University.
