Carley Burroughs

Carley Burroughs is the Sub-Award Administrator for the Clinical Team of Research Development Services. As sub-award administrator, Carley’s focus is to support the creation of outgoing sub-awards assuring timely and accurate processing. Essential to her role is ensuring that federal grants and cooperative agreements are compliant with governmental standards and policies as well as working collaboratively with investigators, departments, sub-recipients and the Office of Sponsored Research. Before joining RDS, Carley was a research administrator at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she held roles in both pre- and post-award administration. Carley has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and graduated in 2018 with a Master of Arts degree in Early Modern History from King’s College London.
